Beef and Peppers



1 pound Beef- steak or stew beef, cut into thin strips

1 Green Bell pepper cut julienne style

1 Red Bell pepper- julienne

1 onion chopped

1 zucchini – julienne

1 carrot- julienne


2 cups beef bouillon

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup vinegar

Cayenne pepper–pinch or desired amount.This can be hot or mild depending on your taste.

5 Tbs. sugar

1  spoon cornstarch mixed with a little water


In a large pan, add olive oil, beef and onions.

Saute and cover, let simmer for a few minutes and add sauce, cover and cook until tender and well done.


When beef is totally cooked and tender,  add vegetables and continue cooking until crisp tender.

My children tend to like things more well done so I cook the vegetables longer.


When you are happy with the texture of your vegetables, add cornstarch mixture and stir very well, let boil and thicken. This can be seasoned in any way you like adding more or less ingredients and spices.
