Update poetry book

The poetry book is coming into focus! I have ordered four different proofs so far! I had no idea what putting a book together involved and so now I know!

It has been fun as well as challenging! I am hoping my newest proof will be the final product! By the way this book is self published!

I don’t know if I am allowed to show one of my experimental books before it is published. I don’t know if I can advertise for my book on my blog or facebook. Basically I am a blank page and so here are pictures of the newlyweds instead.

  6. Amazing photo of the tree and the newly weds. 🙂
As a self-publisher, you can share whatever you want, Lynn. However, if you plan to use Amazon KDP and get the 70% royalty rate, they don’t want you to share over 10% of the contents as part of the agreement. Hope that helps!

      • Lynn, the only writings in my book are ones from my blog. My son Donovan choose a cover, created a title, and wrote a little about the contents of the book and “about the author.” I am in awe of your using your own posts and self- publishing.

  20. Lynn, for your book of poetry, put in what you like in it. Then promote it on your blog and Facebook. That is the way that people will find out about it and buy it. Using blog posts is a common way to write a book. I have seen a number of authors use this method. Enjoy the journey and know that there is no wrong way in putting your poetry together. Blessings on your poetry book. Hugs!

      • Lynn, you are beautiful, gifted and courageous. No label or the past can define you. There are nine wonderful of your off spring that speak of your capabilities in difficulty. Don’t sell yourself short. You will publish the poetry book and I will make sure I buy one as will many others. Blessings and hugs! xoxo
