Yesterday we welcomed Alayna into this world. She is a healthy, beautiful baby girl. 


Jacki is doing well and as always is a strong woman who handles everything gracefully. Osama was there every step of the way and continues to amaze me as a wonderful husband and father. The little family is beautiful.

The boys were helpful and seemed well prepared to see their baby sister, but were a bit confused as well. 


Auntie Foof has been at home with me and is close to her nephews so they were entertained with her usual childlike behavior! 


Life is full of surprises and we never know what joy awaits.

  17. My dearest friend, I am DELIGHTED to read that little Alayna has made a safe arrival, that Jacki is unscathed by the birth and that Osama and those adorable little boys are all in one piece. I so remember the bewilderment on my eldest daughter’s face when the next one arrived and so on like French knitting as each youngest became an older sister with the arrival of a newbie but with parents as dedicated and loving and a wider family as supportive as the twins have, it’ll be no time before they are pro-big bros! Most of all I want to say congratulations beauteous you – those children have a gift of a grandma and I send you much love xxx

  36. Aww Alayna is sooooo cute. I love that pic with the boys looking down on her , I wonder what is going on in their minds 🙂
