Smoke

Here is a view of the lake that my sister took yesterday. Smoke from wild fires has drifted over to our area as well. The sun and moon were red yesterday.

    • I think one is about 3 hours away so I feel safe. I grew up in the woods and we were always worried about fires and several neighbors lost their homes so used to that worry. But thank God we are far away. Thanks

There’s so many fires going at the moment. The fires in Canada are actually affecting our air quality down here in southern Wisconsin and my daughter is currently in danger from one of the fires raging in California.

      • We had dreadful fires here in France earlier in the summer. The firefighters are SO brave and the loss of those directly effected is unbearable. I won’t even think about the flora and fauna … too upsetting. Xxx

      • One of my friends in Montana just posted some pictures on Facebook about the fires near them – so scary. I’ve been in forest fires twice, and they aren’t anything to mess with.

  12. Stay safe, Lynn. Mother nature seems very angry lately with fires, Hurricane Harvey, and the hurricane that is on its way to Florida.
