  1. How interesting. In Britain we call these ‘Teasil’ … my grandmother loved them and used them in her Church flower displays often. Your picture is lovely and reminds me of her – one of my most loved ever and I thank you xx

  2. Cattails, bullrushes, teasils – in my language (Swedish) they’re a species of “kaveldun” meaning rolling-pin down. Whatever they’re called, they’re so beautifully pictured.
