Instead of my weekly review I will give an update on the amazing, new family!
It has been a busy few days, sorry if I have missed any posts! On Friday Jacki met with her OB and then the specialist. They decided the babies needed to be delivered sooner than later. Jacki’s blood pressure was still high and the fluid had decreased, so the decision was made to do the C Section that night at 7:30 p.m. We left the district meet and made our way home to get the kids, then drove to Spokane!
Osama updated us all through a group text and sent us pictures. He came down to the maternity waiting room and asked the 3 grandparents to come and see baby Aiden who was in the neo natal. I got to see Aiden briefly and they said he was fine and would be moved in with Jacki! Me and 5 kids were along and so we decided to come back the next morning when Jacki was more settled in. We stayed with mom and dad and at 5:30 a.m. the next morning Osama texted me and asked me to come. We made our way to the hospital and stayed with the kids and babies for 3 hours. We then left for a few hours and returned later for another visit before making our way home!
Jacki is a real trooper and has handled this situation with grace and strength. She is already a fantastic mom! She suffered two miscarriages and still kept faith and hope. She has done everything possible to take care of her health and has welcomed whatever God gives her with her pregnancy! I am so proud of her! She was in pain from the C section but welcomed us with open arms and heart. She is doing well and adjusting nicely to being a new mom!
We sat holding each baby and just enjoying family time. Of course both babies are beautiful and a blessing to be treasured.
Osama has been an amazing husband and father-to-be from the start, helping Jacki and making sure she is comfortable and taken care of. I could not be prouder of him! No money, worldy success or possessions can replace being a good father and husband. I watched him take part in every aspect of the pregnancy and I saw his concern and love shine through! I am so proud of the man he has become!
Love you Osama, Jacki, Aiden and Bennett!
What a beautiful new family.
p.s. I miss the boys

Congratulations!!!! x2!!! Are these your first grands? I can’t remember. I guess Osoma has a great model of what NOT to be as a father. It’s wonderful that he will break that cycle of control and impossible expectation. Yeah!

They are my first grandkids! She had two miscarriages and so I was worried about this pregnancy! YES! He used to tell me, he would never never be like him! He tries very hard, at the hospital was trying his best to make her comfortable and making sure all was well. So, yes breaking that cycle! He holds the babies, helps her work out the breast feeding issues if needed and is being a great dad already! So proud of him

They say that the man who treats his wife like a princess has been brought up in the arms of a queen 🙂 I agree with that 🙂 And in your case as well its very much applicable 🙂 Your kids have an amazing role model to look upto 🙂
