Well this is where I live, I walk many days here! I met him here at this University-he went here. I went about 8 miles away, but all of my kids attend here!
That is nice that your children attend the same university as you attended. These buildings bring back a lot of memories for you and hopefully, all of them are good. 🙂 xoxoxo
Wonderful little video Lynz as you strolled down memory lane to your old University. Loved the Black and white effects of taking you back in thought to the Music room 🙂 ❤ It so nice to revisit old haunts and allow our minds to travel back..
yes! It is not where I went to school but where he went and my kids now as well. I went to a school about 8 miles away. But I walk here daily! thanks Sue
Love this, and the memories associated with these places. When we visit the in-laws, we always drive through State College, PA, in the middle of the state. It is where Jim and I met, and it is still sweet to go there together. Both of my kids graduated from Penn State as well…their choice, we didn’t influence their decision, but it was still so special to go back there as a parent. Thanks, Lynn. ❤️
Lovely buildings! I love college campuses! I could walk around them for hours! Are you still coming this way on the 16th? It’s getting closer, so we’ll have to see if we can get our schedules to mesh! 😀
I love when life takes us full circle….I am sure you have great memories from that university along with some mixed feelings….I love the red brick buildings..and the ivy growing on them….thanks fro the stroll down memory lane….kat
Boy that looks very similar to a College in the town I live in, the old buildings, the ivy, just beautiful. You captured the music on your video too!
Lynn I have nominated you to participate in a Three Day Quote Challenge. Please participate only if you would like to, no obligation and no time frame. If you would like to do it here’s the link: http://onceuponahotflash.com/2016/03/06/three-day-quote-challenge-day-2/
Reminds me of both my college and law school – it has been a few months since I got to visit either, but it will hopefully only be a couple months before we get back. Both places just feel like home!
Wow very interesting! That does sound like it would be an interesting field of law? My daughter has thought about law but is now going into engineering!
Well, if she does engineering and then goes into law, she’ll have a million job offers and for a lot of money – patent litigation always needs engineers, and a female one to boot? That’s like a unicorn. (And, as someone who does that sort of work regularly, it’s very interesting!)
Amazing, how you presented this walk. I have never been there. But I really get the feeling of imagining you years back and here at the same time. Always a funny feeling. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I am so glad to hear you listened to the music, followed it to campus and enjoyed a walk down memory lane. Those times were special, weren’t they? Smiles, Robin xo
Your old university looks a lovely place, Lynn … nice and -oldy-worldy’ looking. I really enjoyed the walk round the campus with you, and I imagine it brought back many fond memories to you. I think you said you studied music there, and in the video, there is music coming through a window. That would have meant a lot to you. What a lot of water’s gone under the bridge since then. Thank you for sharing this. 🙂
Was that your old high school? Nice video!
