My daughter See See does not really like meat. She definitely does not eat beef, sometimes chicken here and there and she loves turkey burgers and meatballs. She has experimented with turkey burgers for awhile until she came up with this delicious recipe. Last week she popped over and made these burgers and they were gone immediately!
Ingredients
2 pounds ground turkey
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. parsley dry
pepper pinch
Topping
bell peppers of your choice
1 chopped onion
Spinach
Saute onions, bell peppers and tomatoes in olive oil
Directions
Mix all ingredients well, take a piece of mixture in your hand, flatten out making a patty. Continue using all of the turkey mixture, stack patties, placing waxed paper in between.
Place on griddle or frying pan and cook until done.
Chop onions, Green bell pepper and tomatoes. Saute in olive oil until soft.
Place a cooked patty on a bun and top with onion mix and fresh spinach.
- use caution when working with ground turkey just as you would with any uncooked poultry/meat. Cook until well done and until internal temperature has reached recommended temperatures, clean all work surfaces appropriately.
Thanks See See!
Looks like a delicious turkey burger, See See is a great cook like her Mom.

Lynn, See See’s burger looks so tasty. Unfortunately turkey is not so readily available here as I would like it to be. I am still keeping the recipe though, as I will stumble upon some, at some time. See See is absolutely beautiful Lynn, you must be so proud. Also, so nice that she cooks….she has learnt from the best 🙂 xxx

Well it is a sub job so not that well. You see I am a planner and need organization plus I still have 3 minors at home and 3 older kids! It is hard to take jobs on the spot and I have things going on! So, I am hoping next year to have a permanent/part time job in the school system! Thanks so much for asking! xx

First of all See See is a stunner – what a gorgeous picture. Secondly, those burgers look absolutely divine and I will try them out on two brains who refuses most beefs but needs to understand how glorious alternative burgers can be (we have a chain in England called Gourmet Burger Kitchen – home made burgers of many varieties – different meats, veggies, dressed this way and that way on different breads and I’ve eaten my way through a good few but this looks deeply luscious)
