  1. Beautiful picture! It must have been an early snow; it’s interesting to see the snow covered ground under the fall foliage. I love the lines you wrote to go along with pic. Maybe this caption is a symbol of your own experience of coming home? Crawling, then standing up and walking- stronger, though still feeling lost; searching for the way home, then realizing all you had to do was trace your old path back. I don’t know… it’s the english major in me coming out! 🙂

  2. That picture reminds me of some of the scenery we have here even with all of this blizzard snow. Still some very stubborn leaves on trees that, even in late January, show no sign of falling to the frozen ground. Mother Nature is funny that way!

  4. After reading your post about your family I can relate so well to your poem. You have been through so much, you have been so strong. And here you are, stronger then ever. The snow looks fun, hope you had fun 🙂 Stay blessed.

  5. Ooh! I love the twists and turns that finally led her to the realization that she was leading herself home! Reminds me of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. She had the magic to take herself home in her ruby slippers all along! 🙂
