Camel Souk

Just outside of Riyadh is the camel market. It is a really interesting place to see camels and desert life!

  2. I know nothing about camels. This photos area treat. Their personalities really come across. I guess they are the “horses” of the desert.

  15. The camels are cute! Lovely photos. Keeping your distance was a great idea if you’re terrified of them. I’ve heard they can be quite temperamental. xo

  16. I researched alpacas for A Berkshire Tale and found that they are part of the cameliad family along with llamas. And they all spit! I loved these photos.
